Long Beach

$168.00

Expertly crafted of Cherry, Maple, Ipe, Walnut, and Zebrawood, the Long Beach cutting and serving board reminds us of a surfboard on a warm, Summer day. Wood craftsman and artist Phil Gautreau has a passion for the conservation and appreciation of wood's natural beauty. Using mostly upcycled wood remnants from the furniture industry, Phil planes old moldings, floors and decking to create his unique boards. Each piece takes on a life of its own in Phil's hands, no two are ever quite the same size or shape.

Dimensions: 14"x 8"

Additional Info

Phil Gautreau is a winner of the Build It Green award whose boards are loved by professional chefs and restauranteurs. These cutting boards are made to last, and will surely become a hardworking staple of your kitchen.  Proudly used  in lieu of plates in a NYC restaurant,  these boards stand up beautifully to repeated daily use.

Hand wash with mild soap and warm water after each use, and dry with a towel. Do not submerge the board in water or dishwash. Periodic treating with food--safe mineral oil or bees' wax will enhance the beauty of the wood, help protect the board from certain stains, and maintain the board's luster.
